So ill make it short and sweet, went to Pikes Peak this past weekend for the 88th Running of the International Hill Climb. Between 5 people we took over 4000 photos and video so ill just throw some random ones up here.

I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER and all i have is a point and shoot so deal with it.

some interesting facts:

We were at Devils Playground which is around 12000 feet up in the air. At that altitude most cars lose over 30% of their power by the time they reach the summit (14000 feet).

If you do anything physical like oh i dont know walk up a 4 foot hill youre out of breath and feel like youre about to pass out(lack of oxygen).

Weather was anywhere from 35 degrees at 3am to 65 in the sun at noon.

Once you get on the mountain at 4am (when the gates open) you CANNOT LEAVE until after the race ends (4pm). We got in line at 2am haha

The race is over 10 miles long (pikes peak is 19miles from start to the top).

What a great time. Great photos too. Too bad Rhys couldn't get within 45 seconds of Tajima, but it is the first year on that car.
