    Actually, according to the story, the Vette guy dropped his cell phone onto the passenger side. When he was reaching for it, he noticed the trailers and instead of hitting the brakes, he jammed on the gas. Guy was over 6' tall and walked away w/o major injury.

    The Enzo was different. The guy lost control at over 150mph and the car was sheered in half from the impact. He died.

    Thats insane...I know a guy that from one of the VW forums that does body work on a lot of high end cars. They had someone back into something with a Carerra GT. They needed to replace the rear bumper which ended up costing around $42000.
