    Default :: My Friends Dsm Build ::

    Was running 11.7 on stock internal just bolt ons and a bottle. He got bored and is starting to get real!!!! Said he going to be running 1600cc or (160lb) injector- 8 of them on a Gt42r. Cars going to be sick. POLK PERFORMANCE is were he gettin it done at.There's no intercooler because it is str8 methanol.

    as far as Exterior he is only adding a fiberglassed hatch, stonger rims and paint! But it should be but i dont know since its running methanol, lol!

    bwhahaha that thing won't be streetable anymore. That turbo is so laggy on such a small motor..the powerband is like 7,000-10000 rpm. JOhn sheppard runs the same turbo on his car.

    how long ago was that? he doesn't drive it anymore with the GT42 setup since he just runs methanol in it. It used to be somewhat of a street car a while back but not anymore and he has said that himself on a few boards.

    Oh god its still a 2.0? Yeah that is going to be laggy as hell. I mean spraying will help out a lot but the 2.4 bottom end isnt hard to do or anything. It's really nice though.

    It's a full custom setup by Polk Performance.... Don Polk is among the best in the business.... The same Polk that built Shep's head, that helped him break the record this year.

    very nice setup. i though u were gonna be running alcohol bc the was no intercooler oin the enige stand pic. i want to do something liek that on my car but i think ill have sucky oil return bc the i would have to mount the turbo to get a descent dwnpipe and my bumper is too shallow to run a front mount and move the turbo forward. i got a pimp manifold built i just have to duplicate it in stainless bc mild stell is not gonna hold. again very nice setup.
