    Angry BOUND TO FINISH DB BUILD

    ADDED WHEEL PICS ON PG 2







    ok ive had this car on and off since 08 been back and forth thru friends traded and stripped and hard times wasted alot of money on this damn thing and it should have been done along time ago well now ive got it back i want to finish it .. its not going to be anything real special just going to be a decent dd i can enjoy ..

    the car started off stock with a gsr skunk2 susp and greddy catback

    when i had fall off of 08

    then 09 after trading and got it back and put it back together to have a ride had a ls with a gsr tranny

    i rode like that for awhile was wanting another hatch or coupe but then in feb this happened courtesy of my roomate and his gto he backed in it in the driveway

    so that was 2400 dollars worth of damage so i took the check and wanted to do something i wanted to do for a long time .. ive owned a bunch of tegs and rocked the us front for way too long.... flame all you want i dont care im not jumping on no bandwagon im doing this just for me and me only

    so here it starts

    got the t bar off


    abs delete



    new t bar on with a special vin



    now we have only bolted down the t bar with sheet metal screws to test fit everything before welding and this is the results we got on the first try just a lil adj was made but everything went on smooth i was surprised




    now since that was going along smooth we tore it back apart for welding and cleaning and to get ready for paint which i can not make up my mind what i want to do yet

    now after three washes and fender well washes i got this





    now we are finding all the dings and dents






    now its going to sit like that for a couple of weeks till i decide on a color for the bay and car .. still trying to find a motor wheels exhaust and susp ... i dk what setup i want to go with i would like to go back na with a c1 but i never had a turbo and kinda wanting to play with one maybe like 6 -8 pounds nothing super fast like i said i just want a clean dd i can enjoy i will post more pics of progress ... thanks for looking :idb:

    a turbo GSR motor would be nice for the 4 door at 8 pounds, not super fast, but it should get you out of some sticky situations

    yeah i was thinking the same thing i would like to go back to a c1 because it is a db8 but i would do ls-t or maybe a b20 t but i know b20 will need a lil more security for that

    I have a b20 for more than 2 years. It's strong if you don't cheap out on parts. Never had a problem mechanically. But then my own friend rear-ended me on Saturday. T_T

    nice work! i have a white db8 too...i've been kinda on the fence about getting a JDM front (i think they make our cars look too much like accords). BUT seeing it on your car is making me 2nd guess myself lol...

    and definitely go boost, mine has been boosted for years, and there aren't many 4-dr boosted tegs out there. as long as u put the same detail into the turbo kit that you're putting into everything else, you'll be fine and it'll last a long time...

    thanks everyone!!! me and my friend both went to school to do body work so we will be taken care of it ...


    looks like im going to go b20 with me gsr tranny because im having a hard time trying to find a good deal on a c1 and i dont really see my self spending 1600.00 just to have vtec .. i would if i had the cash but funds are tight i have other stuff i need to get for the car to get it going .. im not try to cut corners im just trying to be pratical .. plus im bumming rides and it sucks ..... but if i go b20 i will end up throwing some boost on it down the road

    just picked up a c1 with a lil over 100k for 800 minus the dizzy with post pics when i get it out of the van and in daylight

    sorry camera is dead using the iphone

    picked this up for 800 bills



    head is pretty clean





    will replace all the seals and water pump oil pump and timing belt and headgasket before install

    well i just want it to be a little tucked not slammed just a nice clean low look ... i dont think those are are gonna poke out to far because its on +20 i was thinking a 205/40/16 or 195/45/16 guess i wont know till i do a test fit .. i got them for 479.00 shipped not a bad price and there 2010 model i googled pics of them and only seen them on scions and they look decent they should be here by next thursday .... i figured i will have to do a fender roll
