    Default The Nordic Region

    I drive a swedish car and I'm working with a company in Sweden to get some parts for my car. One of the guys pointed me to the car below when we got to talking and I just love it. So here are some other things from one of my favorite sites. These are just a few of the ones I really like for various reasons

    This is how they do it in the north.

    Old VW- Hate the rear camber, but the stereo setup is just too cool.












    Opel Kadett-760hp



    Volvo 2.5l turbo in a KE70 (@300hp)




    Baby Vette AKA Opel GT- Got a Volvo T6 with a GT35 turbo and 6 speed M3 tranny.

    The guy making some parts for me has one that he is doing with a Saab 2.3 turbo in it. The engine makes about 500hp right now. I'll have to ask him if it's cool if I post pictures of it. It has custom 17x9 f/17x11 r Kinesis wheels on it. Apparently the Opel GT is having some kind of revival in Sweden right now.

    He offered to sale me his other 2.3 to swap into my Saab, but I had to decline. Shipping an engine from Sweden cost more than the engine. It makes about 420hp/505 lb-ft. on ethanol with a Holset HX35.

    The last time I was in Sweden, I saw some crazy ass tuner cars. Its weird seeing kids racing around in modded Volvo's. Was really cool.

    ^That would be a fourth gen Corolla (E70). I believe the one picture is a '79. The blue car underneath is the same car before the paint.
