Default Fitment: The Correct Way. *Warning* USDM Content

So many threads about Fitment. I see the pictures, and then i see almsot everyone saying that the lip shouldnt be exposed, etc etc. Figured i'd do it my way. 19x8.5 with 245/35s on them, should've went 255. And 19x9.5 with 285/35s. What i see as the correct way. Enjoy.

its already been lowered 1 1/2. it scrubs when i launch it lol. Cant lower it anymore. Its not a honda lol. Better showing of how it sits on more level ground. Its low enough. It looks good, Its functional, and its still able to be put on a track and daily driven and not bounce around like a horse and buggy like most of the lowered cars ive rode in.

295 isnt overkill lol. I about put 305s on it. Probably will next time i go to order my tires. true fitment. got traction? even with 295s i lack at times.

well for one theyre 285s, not 295s. but 295s wouldve done nicely. 305s wouldve done fine. specially since nitto runs narrow anyways. a 305 is about equivalent to a 295 in nitto sizes. but im pretty sure that for a 295 the correct rim size is 9.5-11.

Im not a fan of c6 wheels, i like my 19's. if i do 315s i have to raise the car back up and thats not something im ready to do. maybe add another 1.5" to my rear wheels in the future and try it.

Rolled my fenders, and had to adjust my panhard bar because the passenger side was scrubbing a little bit on the lip. now its perfect. as for exhaust its a custom set up. I have a pic of when it was getting put on. Pacesetter long tubes, custom True Duals, H pipe under the axle out the back. This pic is missing the H pipe.

whats the deal with people wanting my car lower? its not an import or minitruck that you can sit on the ground and be ok with it. Its an actual performance car. i like taking my car to the tracks. my exhaust already scrubs over bumps lol. no more lower.

yeah i love white. its my favorite, followed closely by Sunset Orange Metallic. They are getting hard to find, specially 6 speed. A lot of the white ones i looked at to buy were automatic and non ws6 cars.

The car is nice, it sets up nicely, its probably quick.....buuuut......the gloss black centers and polished lip just don't quite work for me (most probably would not agree) overall nicely done though

I like the CCW's, they look great on vettes and trans ams. But i dont like the "drag" look. I like the street/autox look alot more than i do a drag look. It just dont suit me lol. But what is sad is that i get a better 60ft time with my 19's and these nitto invos, then i did with my stock 17s and the 555 extreme drag radials. nice vette though.

these 19's way almost 2 pounds less each than what my factorys weigh. dont see how they make me slow. Its not a race car anyways. its a street car that has a little bit of power. if anything it will be on an auto-x track when i get out to texas. the 19's ride alot better, the car handles better with them, and all aroundj ust does better with them.
