    Talking my new project: 91 crx

    I picked it up yesterday out in woodstock. For the most part its gutted but im slowly but surely going to put it back together. It has 235,xxx on the body 91,xxx on the motor. IF YOU HAVE ANY INTERIOR FOR SALE LET ME KNOW! haha

    i bought the full interior (except the damn climate control and ac vents) at HPC today and just got done putting everything in. it made a worlddd of difference, ill put the pics up tomorrow.

    anyone know how to put on a window crank in this car?? ive looked and looked but couldnt find any info except for how to remove it ha. i have the handle, panel piece, and the pin just no clue on how to make it stay on ha.

    Well...failed emissions for the third time now ha. I took off the high flow cat and threw on the factory cat and came close to passing but still failed. Then I noticed that the guy was testing for the wrong motor and retested (charged another $25 as well) and failed even worse ha. So the guy tells me to retard my timing by turning my distributor. No biggie right? WRONG lol. I go to do it and one of the bolts is missing from the dizzy, theres a phillips head in the top bolt that couldnt be reached, and the other bolt was rounded. Any advice??

    Well the dizzy on there now is new..or so the guy I bought it from says. Its just jimmy rigged on ha. And im testing at this emissions spot near my house off of PIB in Sugar Hill.

    I'm in the same boat as you, tested 3x already and have failed (with a high-flow). Turning the fuel pressure down all the way made it pass 2/3 only. About to try denatured alcohol.

    My hatch failed really bad with high flow cat on.

    Took off high flow cat (replaced with magnaflow cat (best one for b16s)), retarded timing, did a fuel system clean/ flush and lowered idle. Pass with flying colors.

    Now every year all we have to do is retard the timing and we are done.

    The guy I took it too knows his stuff when it came to swapped motors in honda's.

    yea all i need to do is retard the timing i believe but after trying to remove already rounded bolts with a vice grip thats not looking like an easy job.

    After using an air hammer to get the bolts out of the distributor I was finally able to retard my timing and pass emissions. Now that I have my tag and all that other crap is out of the way, its build time!!
