    its crazy how a lot of these pictures look so old now because of our new technology in cameras. i know those realtime acuras were around the early 2000's but the pics look like the 80's.

    This thread is 10x better then the other. I love the real touring car days.

    Wow awesome find! I love the ISMA series back in the early 90's and late 80's. Hey if you can find any GLHS Omni's or Chargers post the pictures up!

    there are a few chargers and omnis i found but i didnt post...ill find some

    anyone know what ever happen to Roger Foo? He almost made me want to buy a civic hatch back when he was driving one.

    all those cars look like you could just have fun in them, win or lose. thats just me though, lol, idk.

    EDIT: and in this set of pics is the FIRST time i've ever seen a DA Integra full-raced out like that for something other than street racing, or drag racing. Good find! repp

    I think I saw a Merkur in there, I want to say awesome but can't. Also, I doubt those new Cougars are going very far, like that Starion. Awesome collection though, I started counting Proteges, but quit about a third of the way through, I was surprised how many there were.

    lol you have no idea how many mazdas are raced. I saw every model of fwd mazda and all rx7s and miatas aswell. but proteges, miatas and integras dominated the pics.

    but yea that was a merkur


    looking at these pics, makes you want to go buy any car, and throw some tires on it , and race it..lol

    I remember seeing Paul Newman run those z32's in 1990 as a kid at Road Atlanta. Also I love all the cars on the Forgeline RS's from the 90's everybody had them including me!

    alright this may be a stupid question but whatever happened to the speed world touring car and gt challenge? i used to watch it when audi was racing the RS6 but then i got caught up with work and when i tried to get back into watching it i can't find it. again i am sorry if its a stupid question but i was just wondering. by the way awesome thread

    Yeah they still show it, it's not as good as it use to be AT ALL, last year the fields were small, it's not even a remotely budget series anymore with the top teams in TOURING CARS not even GT spending millions in testing and development.

    Koni Challenge is by far the best touring car series we have in America now in my opinion.
