    2nd to last pic is the only good one IMO. The rest kill my eyes. The car is very nice

    lol im just sayin blow out, you lose all the details, with high key you still see the lines of the car like you should its just a higher exposure. personally i like it, i think it really makes the car pop but everybody has different tastes

    yeah i'm not gonna lie... i think bandy has better shots than these with his strobes. the subject is remarkable (which is going to jade any viewer), but the pics are little much IMO. you've opened the flood gates now, dood! lol. you better bring the heat in every thread lol.

    Well, I can see why most people say that these pics are blown out. First reason is because their monitors aren't calibrated correctly. Pictures will hurt the eyes. Second reason is because these are more like "reverse high key".

    Most of the time, "high key" photography is used to focus on the object with similar "colored" background. However, in these pics, the car itself is being washed out to bring out the Mods & the scenic. Think of it like "reverse high key"

    Not really feeling the high key...but I get it. I think with a white car its a bit much.

    I think Klingelhoefer's RX3 shoot pulled that look off a little more effectively.

    OP was shooting for body kit client.

    The most important thing in product photography is making the product stand out and appear favorable. I think the blown out car is meant to contrast to the carbon fiber. That is the point of these photos.

    i think i read somewhere that those shots were not photography. damn CGI. or atleast part of them were.
