    Default Wide Rubber

I might be one of the few these days who thinks stretched tires look stupid so post pics of your anti-stretch in this thread. Try to keep it with only IA member pics... I'll start:

looks good. When I see some meat like that, I know the car is drivin how its supposed to be. And when I see stretched tires, I think of hard parkers. So my concept of the stupidity of streched tires is based on what its on.

I would have put some 215s on there, but hey, whatever works.

I will be putting 285s on the E55.

    Fitment minus stretch. flush=flush.

Yeah I would get plenty of traction with 215's but I decided to go 100mm wider. Thanks for posting a pic.

naw, needs to be about 2 inches lower for "fitment" but I still think it looks great. Keep it up.

    i put 225's on 17x8" wide wheels...hella stretch lol

Big wheels doesn't mean narrower tire:
19x8.5, 35*offet with 235/35...still sits nice, tire tucked in, functions as i want it to.

My next will be about 18x9.5 with either 255's or 265's (after that i am gonna need -3+ to -4 camber for setup to fit and not hit struts...don't want). Those sizes listed above will sit perfectly, tuck in without much camber.

It's not too hard to slap on a wide wheel, put narrow ass tires, throw massive negative chamber and make it fit (give that's the fad rite now). Now try that with meaty tire, same width tire, same drop, and have it function properly.

looks great! on YOUR car. not so much on a car going for absolute flush fitment. Big tires are GREAT when this is the look you're going for.

Small tires are great when you're going for a stanced/fitted look. I appreciate both.

    Stop the hate.

A car can be properly stanced with non-stretched tires.

I don't hate the stretch movement at all, but I just enjoy seeing good fitment with solid stance every now and again.

this is true. but like i said different vehicle applications require different tire fitment. i'll be DAMNED if i had a Vette or a Stang with stretched tires. WTF?
But my Honda will require the stretched look. I'm a lovuer not a fighter. I love it all but hate haters.
