Awesome. Use a lower shutter speed for the moving shot though.

i think they came out pretty good too. i think i need to spread the cups apart more because the camera wanted to make the ppole bounce up and down.

1-the shot is blurry but like you said, having the cups farther apart should fix that. also the edges of the hood are the more stable part of the hood, its kinda flimsy in the middle. so having the weight more spread out and the cups on the more stable part of the hood should fix that.

2-the background man, the blur isnt very pleasing ya know. the background for rig shots are just important as the background on static shots. try an open area where you can get a cool sky or next to building that has doors, windows, pillar, whatever that will blur.

have fun, rig shots are fun stuff

also try using a slower shutter speed and higher aperture. it will give you a bit more motion blur and allow you to roll slower to prevent camera shake.

Thats the info I need. As far as back ground goes. This was just a shot to get the fear of $2500.00 hanging from a pole out of the way lol. But I will take all that and get better.

You do realize the car is not supposed to be running, driving, or moving fast than a crawl right? Until you use a rig setup for driving anyways.

There's a REALLY simple fix to prevent a limp pole and any shake BUT nobody on this website has ever done it lol! MAYBE one day it will be figured out. I despise rig shots but everyone doing them in the most awkward and inefficient ways makes me want to do it for shits & giggles lol!

The car was not running and was out of gear. I think a snail past me so I was not going over 1 mph. Please pm me and fill me in on not having the pole moving.

I have someone cutting me 4 3ft sections and threading each end of 1 1/4 aluminum conduit so I can take It apart when hauling it and storing it.

That's some great looking rigs! Yeah, I'd be nervous about hanging equipment out there too, no matter how many times I'd done it.
