    Default Honda's "New Super Car"

    Just saw that this is a repost from EJ25RUN Thread....whoops! Atleast its "new" pics and a couple of videos!

    We are sure that the photos of the Honda HSV-10 GT, will make you very excited. We’ve seen it on video , and now we have available photos of the HSV-10 GT on track.
    The super car is absolutely beautiful and is being expected to perform giving very positive results with the 3.4 liter V8 engine underneath the hood producing more than 500 hp.

    i thought the only place it was going to actually exist was in SUPER GT and not into production?

    I retract my last statement, after seeing the video, if they put that into production w/ that V8, and I had the money, I would pay whatever they asked

    It's just a honda some will say, but a ford is just a ford, a chevy just a chevy, a chrysler just a chrysler, but this shit is on a whole different level. Super car status changes everything, maybe an attempt to subvert Toyota's LFA project. More for less maybe.

    From the comments, I'm assuming most of you have never seen SuperGT cars' construction.

    It has about 10% to relate to the production car. The GT500 GTR for example is rwd and powered by a Tomei built VK45 NA V8. Toyota's V8 in the SC430 is built by Technocraft and Honda's engines are from HRC.

    Next, the chassis is a carbon monocoque. It shares absolutly nothing with the production car. The former mid engined NSX had the V6 vertically opposed instead of horizontal.

    4cyl era Supra.



    Needless to say, you can't compare the car in the op to a production car.

    Whatever it is, I hope a road-going model comes to fruition. It looks incredible.

    What Honda really should do is follow up on the NSX and make a Porsche 911/Audi R8 fighter.
