The Bug looks good. I'd put the VW engine back in it and drive the shit out of it. Later, QD.

Not a fan of brand-swapping. If anything, put in a newer VW engine or something. Later, QD.

I can see that but I love some brand-swapping.

Especially GM in imports! Hell I even liked that red 69 Camaro with a 2jz, would I do it? Probably stick with a GM motor, but that is because I care more about GM than other makers.

I won't down anyone for their tastes, but I'm a purist when it comes to cars and old school cars. Lolol. Later, QD.

NICE !!!! It may be brand swapping but the history is there. Subaru's boxer engine is the
natural progression of Ferry Porsche's original flat four design. Purists may not like it...
but it's better than putting an american v8 up front !!!!

Plus he can still keep the lid on AND it still has that boxer sound !!! only more powerful
    and reliable !!!

I'd love to throw that in the back of my 69 Bug !!!

Having all that weight on the rear tires sure would help it hook

The Bug looks amazing on its own, but with the STi motor in it, it is PURE sexiness! The car looks like it has been very well taken care of.
