I might type up the whole story later but to summarize it someone slammed on their brakes on a slippery concrete not-really-pavement highway ramp facing downhill on wide tires with a good traction friendly heavy truck that has ABS and I locked up my wheels, slid down the hill and hit them. The cops were already there (the guy was stopping because he said he didn't know if the cops there were trying to stop him even though they were waving him by) and they said I probably could have been gonig slower since their blue lights mean "be cautious" , but the guy stopping on a 55 mph highway ramp didn't help. (I was going maybe 40?). Got a following too close charge, the F-150 I hit had no damage, and he just drove home.
