Has your car been in a magazine?

Ok, so smrlsvtec's thread gave me a kind of neat idea that has NEVER been posted on here. I thought I'd give it a try. If you've had a picture of your car in a magazine, post it up in here. It can be from your feature car to a group shot of cars with yours in it to the "reader's rides" section. But make sure your car can be seen in the picture without any doubts of it being yours.

I'll start off with mine a few other members of IA from one of our Old School Japanese Car meets. The pictures will be on the right page. Later, QD.

Plus there were some Atlanta VW guys in last month's Performance VW for the Worthersee coverage.

Super Street reader's rides, I forget what month. It had a white G35 on the cover with some crazy body kit. This was the only time I've ever submitted it for anything. Since they got rid of Turbo and Sport Compact Car, and Import Tuner sucks (IMO), I went for the one that got the most attention, haha.



Sad thing is, by the time they printed it I had blown the motor, haha.

EDIT: It's kinda funny to look back and see how much of my car has actually changed in the last year.

good job all, I have always wanted my car in a magazine. I have made it on a few online ones and one "flop" magazine (On Da Streets) and have had a few shots taken by those in the magazine scene but didn't get into any major magazine!

I'm sure mine was in at least one issue of Road&Ster...but I never get those mags so I can't say for sure. I've talked to their photoghapher and he's shot my car a few times at meets....oh well. I really wanterd to get into SCC but that's not happening

My original plan was to take my 2 junk tires and blow them to pieces and go for the Burnout of the Month, but like you said, the magazine got the axe. SCC was such a good one, too.

there was a super street many moons ago that accidentaly got a verl slight corner of my bumper at nopi nats. It is not even really noticable except to me because i knew it was there. haha thats as close as i'll ever come.

I also believe your previous car was in an issue of MazdaSport with the coverage of a Myrtle Beach meet or something. In the pictures it has all the CCR graphics on it and that gaudy wing you had on it.

The closest I ever got was being in the background.
My the corner of my '59 in Old Skool Rodz when they had coverage on Dixie Fried '07.
The Element was barely seen in some mag for NOPI '03. They were taking a picture of Tray's old STi and I was in the background.

Justin's 96 del Sol VTEC is not one of the first cars up-and-coming Honda enthusiasts look to when considering a build. It should be though. The del Sol was the first Honda to feature the legendary B16a engine in the U.S. The EG2 chassis has one of the most sought-after, close-ratio, B-series gearboxes, featuring a 4:400:1 final drive, four-wheel disc brakes, and, of course, its open top body was released long before the S2000. Justin's EG2 isn't heavily modified- he's kept it that way in an effort to remain, "...classy, functional, and crispy." In fact, the B16a is completely stock save for a custom-painted valve cover. Justin fitted the interior with S2000 leather seats, a custom headliner, and a 330mm Nardi steering wheel held on with an NRG quick release adapter. Well thing about that online magazine is there's a group of pictures that just go onto one day. The ones that go openly on the website are edited better.

She is pretty damn cute. Very nice body. Looked better in person

I was in Car Audio in front of my car holding my trophy at the Finals in Daytona for their event coverage. That was over 10 years ago and my mag is packed away in a tote somewhere in my house. If I find it I will scan and post.
