my first modded car was a 1990 eagle talon tsi awd. sorry no pics since it was about 18-19 years ago. mods... if i remember correctly... eibach springs, suspension techniques sway bars, started with a hks exhaust (sounded crappy back then) so did a custom exhaust with a 2 chamber flowmaster and it sounded much better, hks power flow adapter, can't remember which turbo we went with but it wasn't the stock td05h if i remember right, boost controller (1st one was a thing called a boost graphic it had neat little sliders for different rpms, but didn't work out well so went with a hks evc), hks turbo timer, vented and slotted rotors can't remember which brand, ecu was reprogramed but can't remember who did it, head was ported and polished, i can't remember if we did anything to the intake manifold or turbo manifold but i think we did some stuff there too, not sure but i think it may have had different cams as well, underdrive pulleys, lightweight flywheel, centerforce dual friction clutch, upgraded fuel pump and lines and injectors, cat delete, upgraded all the bushings but i forget which brand it was, c's short throw shifter back in the day they were really great, top of the line clarion pro audio head unit, two 1st gen kicker solo 12's best of the solobaric line ever, clarion 6 1/2 coax's in rear, i think it was either mb quarts or boston pro components in the front, ppi art series a404 and a600 for amps, parallel extra battery in hatch and i think it was an interstate battery, there may have been one or two caps in there but can't remember, all the wiring and blocks and fuse holders were streetwires and monster cable. i probably missed a whole bunch of things, but you get the basic idea. most memorable things was killing a firebird firehawk 6 sp 315hp car with this 4 banger and keeping up with stock 300tt's in it too. the solo 12's hit so hard... i remember my friends telling me the windows, blinds, and even the spoons in coffee cups would shake when i was several hundred feet away from the waffle house. was really a fun car back then and i miss it as well.

And they all served a purpose...

You know you have the ones you need andthen you have the ones that tell cabin pressure, danger to manifold gauge and one that tells me what my altitude is at.... I kid I kid.

But they all worked, just wanted to know what was going on at all times.

lol its funny.... you can see someone's first car and immediately you know how old they are.

and no, nothing on that civic was fast, but i'm making up for it now with 400 lb of tqe in my Strar-Quest

Mine really dosn't leave the garage. People across the street think it is a tool bench.

My first modded car was in 1986. 23 years ago. My Mom bought my sister and I a 1980 Datsun 210 SW. I took that car a few months later and shaved all 4 door handles off, took the springs completely out and spray-painted it candy-apple, metal-flake blue. It also had baby turbo mirrors mounted high up on the A-pillar and the very first set of 5-star hubcaps in the state. In that pic, I had a rear quarter window busted out. The inside featured a splash paint theme where it looked like it was dripping paint down the doors of the car. I was one of the first in the state to have a truly slammed car as mini-truckin' was really the thing then. So I did all the mini-truckin' mods to my car. Later, QD.

My dad gave me this car cause it was abandoned at his shop, I was going to get the title but a pawn shop had it. So instead I spray painted it, and jumped it.

I did have some wide 15" chrome wheels on my mighty max in high school, but this was the first car i really modded. funny thing this is a current picture. I blew the motor a few years ago, and just recently put a 2000 KA in it and now my wife drives it. i couldn't junk it, i did a full black katskin leather kit in it right before i hydrolocked it! She is tearing it up with the 5-speed, she didnt want to learn and now wouldn't ever go back. Stock engine now but paint and some body mods soon. For years it was 4x4 with Niche Twister wheels 17", remember those? i only have film pics of that set-up
