    Default Steamrollin'?

Needed new tires soon on the Z06 so I ordered some, I loved these on my M3. Here are some pics:

This one is funny for those who know me. 5 lbs. tub of whey protein.

More will follow when they are mounted...

I did not type "weight" protein, I typed "weigh" in my haste. They have the same sound when pronounced. I changed it in the original post though.

    Proof of this?

I have used quite a few sets of RS2s and PS2s(and other Michelin tires) and while the Hankooks have grip they have nothing else in common with Michelin... they don't even 'feel' or 'act' like a Michelin...

30 series? Geesh. No thanks. Corvettes already ride meh... drop the car tot he ground so it can't clear pebbles and run 30 series tires? Do not want.

Have fun with them. I doubt they last very long though. If you don't mind me asking what does an RS2 in that size run?

Honestly, I preferred these over the PS2's on the M3 because the Michelins seemed to roll sideways.

As far as a 30-series, the factory tires are a 35-series so this is not a big deal. The ride is comparable to the M3 with the M3 probably being slightly more harsh. How can you complain about the ride height on the Corvette when your vert is equally "slammed"? My car doesn't even tuck tire.

200 treadwear tires don't usually last long... These only run $280 normally, but they are on closeout for $139 a piece which is a great deal.

I dont really have any "proof" but, when we received shipments from michelin, they also sent us hankook and it was common knowledge that these, and a few other tires by hankook are manufactured by micheln.

If you compare the sidewall writing (on the ones manufactured by michelin) the sidewall writing, (tire size, etc...) is identical to a michelin.

Hankook has been a tire manufacturer since the early 50's, I believe. They started in Korea as a tire manufacturer then. It wasn't until the early 2000's that they started making their tire under the Michelin name. So basically, the Michelin's are rebranded Hankooks. A little tire knowledge for you. Later, QD.

Thanks for picking up my tires for me, Swollix. I just picked up my wheels from the paint shop and I'll catch up with you this evening so we can get the tires mounted.

And my car is NOT an EF. It's an SB Civic. Later, QD.

They didn't hook at all compared to 295/35 KDWs.
