You actually think a VW will have LESS issues than a Honda?

Give it time. Good luck, but luck can only go so far with a VW. I've had six.

LOL @ a VW being less troublesome than a Honda. I have done so many repairs to the different VWs I've had and some of them still have electrical issues.

Air cooled VWs are easy as hell to keep running. Its the water cooled VWs that have a billion issues.

Lol it's water cooled, the new beetle. We do have an air cooled beetle. But you are right these newer vw's have some serious electrical issues. My brother (stirfry) and I have been working on my dads new beetle for years, nothing but electrical problems. At least it gives us some experience in troubleshooting!

My old Jetta was at 195k and it ran great. It had it's share of electrical gremlins but nothing major.
