Um, you got a weird sense of wasting money if you think HRE's and Stoptechs are a waste of money!! To the OP, that really came out great. Love the contrast and detail. I would have cleaned up the wheel a bit more tho to get a cleaner shot. The lube they used to put the tire on makes it look like the wheel is curbed or has scratches.

IMO HRE wheels are a waste of money... they are banned from several racetracks because of their tendency to break. The wheels are also commonly known as "fools fashion".

    Fantastic picture though!

The owner spent a lot more on wheels than necessary for a quality wheel and then cheaped out on brakes by saving money with StopTech over Brembo. At least continue the trend and get Brembos which have a history.

^ lets dont forget the car probably makes less than 300 wheel so it definitely constitutes a big brake kit

LuLz...@ you. God forbid someone uses a bbk so they can stand on the brakes all day long and not have any issue with brake fade.

Props for someone actually using their high dollar parts rather than just being a hard-parking poseur.

It's funny how the NSX-R only has 280hp yet ran a sub 8 second Nurburgring time. Who needs upgraded brakes for that?!

I've driven low 12 second cars (on street tires) with 280hp...that would do 140 in 4th gear and pull all the way to 160. Try to slow down or stop at those speeds with stock brakes lol! I hope they didn't pull off a Brembo caliper for the stocktechs though, I'm sure it had the base brakes on it but I wouldn't put it past anyone that has HRE's.

ya cause god knows you need upgraded brakes on that beast to stop all that tremendous power behind that 3400+ lb 280 crank hp car, i think the stockers would have sufficed... waste of money IMO $4,000+ shit wheels and what $1500+ on some brakes on an NA 350z??!!? just sounds asinine to me... money would have been better spent on some decent rotors, pads, SS lines and forgelines and he still would have put 2k in the bank.

...and surely you arent referring to me as a hard-parking poseur LOL, ill be your huckle-berry

lolol! What does the power have to do with it? More power only means the car is able to get to a certain speed faster. Braking from 140mph with 280hp is no different than braking from 140mph with 500whp in the same car, it just means the car is capable of reaching 140mph more often.

Bigger brakes don't make a car stop "better" anyways, it makes them more predictable and more reliable and more efficient.

You're a dumbass. Have you ever tracked your car before? By tracked, I don't mean going straight then braking for a few seconds at the end.

Its aight. Like speedminded said, I wouldnt have pulled the Brembos off the Track package for those, but they're definitely better than the stock ones on the base base-touring package

Yeah, now if it had the Brembos on there before...i'd be a bit confused as to why they would take them off. But discussing assumptions is kinda pointless lol

Nope..wasn't calling you a hard-parker, I don't even know what your car looks like. I don['t think you're taking into consideration that the car also has slick tires and since brakes are only as good as your tires, if you're running a race tire, the brakes are under far more stress thus requiring the upgrade to allow for greater heat dissipation
