Went to shoot my buddys evo today, i was pretty happy with the outcome.
the car is just a bolt-on stock turbo car with nice brakes, coilovers and BBS MR wheels.
enjoy....

your angles are improving. however your lighting needs work and your editing is bland.
my angles and composition has always been my strong point. lighting is getting better but still needs work, ill keep playing with it and ill get it!Originally Posted by willum14pb
#4 has about 2 hours of post process in it. more blur was added, windows were darkened, wheels were brightened, brought the red out in the calipers more, tree was heavily modified, power pole and power lines were taken out and the sky was dropped in.
i dont like HDR or the "HDR look" so my shots will always be bland![]()
Pictures look good man as always!!
I always thought your angles weren't that good honestly. In these pictures you did a decent job. I'm not talking about the "HDR" look. Just the editing overall is bland. Also i could tell the last one was edited at first glance. Everything's very blurry that was edited and the sky is the wrong size, not to mention heavily pixelated/rasterized. The tree looks like god himself chizled it to perfection and there are no real natural lines on it. As far as the whole package goes, this is your only good shot:Originally Posted by chad@competitionclutch

I ruv you (+reps). A "professional" on here posted an incredibly processed picture he took and someone goes "oh man, you always take the best pictures!". I wanted to say no where in the world looks like this mans pictures, he is tampering with them. It has nothing to do with his skills as a photographer.Originally Posted by chad@competitionclutch
Sure I have photoshop but this is about the limit of how my photos are adjusted.
Editing is huge in photography. Proper editing is second in importance to the lighting. However, if you're a master at lighting, you won't need to edit much. Shots taken outside where you cannot control the lighting without a ton of equipment, editing is key in making or breaking your shot.Originally Posted by MongolPup
Hold up, I'll try to find the photo I was talking about. I agree with what you're saying, but shouldn't editing enhance or slightly correct a good photo, not MAKE a good photo?Originally Posted by willum14pb
you need to go back and look cause i dont mean to be cocky but my composition is always on point. the sky is the right size. the original shot of the sky was 2200pixles wide and i resized the shot to 2200 pixels wide before dropping it in. god did edit that tree cause i blended the sky in then dropped the original outline of the tree back on the top.Originally Posted by willum14pb
thats the WORST shot, look how blown out the bottom part of the front fender is, its freaking white its so blown LOL
exactly! reps sir.Originally Posted by MongolPup
i do my best to make a good photograph then touch it up in post process not hide the quality of the photography in editing. if my shots arent good enough then my photography needs to get better, not mask it with post process.
Fantastic pictures, great looking evo too. REPS my friend.

yes. and no. If you cannot control the lighting, the editing has to do it for you.Originally Posted by MongolPup

Your first photo is extremely blown out. The editing on the last photo is atrocious. It's horribly pixelated, and you can clearly tell what was edited. Again, the sky is the wrong size. I pointed out the picture that had the best editing/angle/lighting. I didn't say it was greatest picture ever. I realize parts of it have blown out color, but it is your best shot in the series.Originally Posted by chad@competitionclutch
the 1st one is the least blown, there is hot spot on the front bumper but the other ones have many more hot spots than the 1st. the sky IS NOT the wrong size....who are you to say how big clouds are? despite what you think you are NOT god. i made sure the clouds were a realistic size.Originally Posted by willum14pb
lighting makes or breaks a picture, you being a professional photographer should know that. the hotspots in the rear bumper and the the blown front fender KILLS that shot, and the angle....it looks like the car is leaning.
nice pictures...but nice brakes?!?! there stock
i swear i thought he had 2 piece rotors on his carOriginally Posted by WhitEvoMr
