Default So our October NJSF Meet made coverage for a magazine...

Thanks, Eddie (puregroove) for the pics and congrats on getting these published, dude. Very, very cool. This is the 3rd issue of Japanese Nostalgic Car magazine and they devoted a nice page of pics from the meet.

Pictured is Garage Zero's turbo AE86, a couple of puregroove's cars, Baby J's 1200, and my CVCC amongst others. Later, QD.

What is the caption under your car? (I assume yours is the CVCC pictured from the side)

It's a popular misconception to call all first gen Civics a CVCC. There were two models of Civics from 1975 to 1979. The 1200 and the CVCC. The side shot is of Baby J's 1200. The one of both Civics is of Baby J's 1200 and my CVCC.

The caption reads..."Honda Civic on American Racing Libras."

    Later, QD.

Too bad my wheels aren't Libre's --- they are the real deal Shelby Cobras - haha. But I won't boycott the magazine - haha

If the 1200 is a 1200cc... what displacement is the CVCC? Or is it a special carb setup?

    The CVCC is a 1500cc engine. 1.5L. I don't have that anymore. I have a 1.8L 1800 engine from a Honda Accord.

Thanks everyone for the compliments and comments. Later, QD.

Thanks QD and everyone. --just a matter of being at the right place at the right time. My shots weren't bad--good enough for coverage.

BTW, when you do get it, look in the first couple of pages where it has editor info and advertising info and all that, and it has you listed there as a contributing photographer. Really cool for you, man. Later, QD.
