Mugen RR Advance Concept

Honda doesnt have a 2 door in Japan. The 4 door is stronger structurally and they have chosen it as the superior chassis. Compairing this with the mugen SI that we get here isnt even close to the same. This isnt even a production car as of yet and there were only 500 RR's made. Its just honda strutting their know how, yes its stupid expensive but its the more than the fact that its a "civic". The developers also prove that a FF chassis is a very capable layout. The engine cover is a bit much but with it being Mugen that means that its functional and not just for looks, my guess its for reducting turbulence in the front of the car.

you are speaking 2nd hand, the cars were not that much at the dealer, more like 39k for the RR at the dealer.

It's a damn shame that the Civic Type R is the best platform Honda has to offer Mugen to work on.

BTW, the original RR was only 40k. This concept is just to show what Mugen can do. It won't be for sale.

someone said that the original RR is faster than the s2000. sadly, this is true.

as a AP1 owner with a biased opinion, i still would never ever buy this, no matter how much money i made. good to see honda strutting their stuff though. 260hp out of a 2.2.
