Usually people use hardtop that is body color, but I bought a black hardtop instead (paid 700 instead of 4000), then I tint the window, add a CF plug cover. Next step will be painting the rear diffuser black.

1991 Acura Integra
1998 Toyota Corolla
Yes of course. I am waiting for a new SC kit to release that is suppose to put the car in 275whp range. Should drop the 0-60 time to under 4 sec because the car weight less than 2000 lbs. Other than that, I just want to keep it simple. Powder Coating the splitter and gas door, maybe a pair of carbon fiber seat if the leather seats worn out,but that's pretty much it for this car.Originally Posted by KustomBuildz

Did you get the CF spark plug cover from Kenny Heiser? I used to have the same one but I sold it and got the polished Injen SP cover.
Yes I bought it from Kenny Heiser. Much cheaper to buy the part for Celica, 75$ instead of 400$ from a UK company.Originally Posted by DSGB-GTS
i like like even tho my hardtop is storm like the color of the car, but i would have done the same thing if mines had not come with a hardtop with the purchase.

actually they have aftermarket mirrors that look a lot better but they dont come in the color of the car
Why would it be cheaper to buy the part for the Celica GT-S? It is the same part on the same engine!! You could have got that SP cover on newcelica.org for around $100 or less. What UK company did you buy from?Originally Posted by yjack
Sorry I should say from Celica GTS, I only paid 75$ for mine from Kenny on newcelica.org, but most Lotus owner get their engine cover from reverie, which cost around 400$ when it first came out for a flat piece of CF. The price recently dropped to 200$, which I think is still way over priced.Originally Posted by DSGB-GTS

The car has the exact same HP figure as GTS, 190 HP
Good I am glad you got a good deal on newcelica.Originally Posted by yjack

I agree that $200 is still crazy for that SP cover but some folks just do not care.![]()
Yea, I used to drop big money into car, but right now I think a lot more when0 it comes to buy any parts for the car. For example, the exhaust system for this car usually cost anywhere from 500$ to 1200$. And its basically only a freaking muffler with a tip. So I ended up only spending 250$ with Maintream, they did my exhaust in full stainless, and the price is including installation.Originally Posted by DSGB-GTS
Luckily Elise share the same drive train with GTS, so I actually have some cheaper alternatives when it comes to parts..
looks good man,is the S/C a TRD one?
I've always loved these cars. Any black/grey theme is nice also. Keep up the good work.
