    Default My new A4 project

    So I bought this car last week.
    1997 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro
    I removed the waste gate as I am replacing all the exhaust gaskets so its all fresh.
    car run ok now,but without the MAF and the IC piping its not vacuuming like it should.












    Car has
    tein springs
    XS power t04e turbo
    XS power waste gate
    XS power turbo mani

    I have ordered



    I am also searching out
    Factory airbox
    MAF sensor

    I am going to have the ecu chipped and run about 14-16 psi of boost on a mild decent tune.
    Looking to make around 330hp to the wheels.

    I am not sure what exhaust is on the car as of now but its also not stock.

    I will keep this thread updated as I go.

    Interesting. Is the manifold custom, or was the turbo flanged to fit the OEM unit? What TP and DP are you using? Do have an idea of how much power it makes now?

    It is a XS power mani,aftermarket but not custom.

    i wouldnt be too eager to run that much boost with that xs power turbo.. they are great for 10lbs.. after that they start costing money...lol

    nice car tho!

    I removed the turbo,mani and no shaft play,no oil I am almost sure its all new parts.

    I am going to jack it up and look at the exhaust as i know its not stock either.
    I should have the IC hose this week and the air box.

    Looking forward to getting this thing running like it should be the weekend.

    Once its running as it should I will order a chip for the ecu or a good used chipped ecu from the vortex someone always wrecks a car on that forum,lol.

    Looks like I found what I need.

    I am going to just run the stock setup for right now.

    I am supposed to meet a cool ass guy who is going to trade me.

    I am giving him my
    turbo
    turbo mani
    waste gate
    catless DP and vband strap
    braided oil line

    for his
    k03 turbo
    cast mani stock
    factory DV
    all the intake hosing
    everything I need other then the MAF.

    I should do this Thursday ,yay for the A$ driving,lol
