Wrecking someone elses car doing something stupid is fucking LAME. I'll bet there is going to be more damage than you think when it's all said and done.

It was a good friend of ours, he has already taken full responsibility, but the major props goes to alex for being the most calm and collective person about it. I was actually kinda shocked to see the way he reacted when i drove him to his car. But its just a car like he said

Mr. X is a sarcastic guy, so I didn't believe him or I thought at worst he curbed my wheels. We hop into the Civic Si and navigated to the spot where my car was located, approximately 1.5 miles down the road. As we pull into the area, I immediately noticed my car was leaning one side and the damage was greater than we had anticipated. From what I can tell from the scene of the accident, he accelerated at a rapid pace in 1st gear out of her complex, shifted to second most likely in the apex of the turn, and began to fish tail as indicated by the irregular tire marks. He then proceeded to impact the curb almost parallel, hurdle over it with all four wheels, and slide into the mud narrowly avoiding a tree. He continued traveling this arced path and nearly connected with a light pole before crossing the curb once more and exiting back into the street. I can assume that this happened at approximately 40 MPH, as far as I know, none of my suspension components were bent. Nothing visibly appears to be bent beside the wheels. Mr. X is assuming full responsibility for his actions.

Ugh, 1.5 miles away? 1. Cold tires 2. A car with suspension improvements is less predictable than one without. Deadly combination!

Anyone know anything about Marietta Dodge or Gerber Auto & Glass repairing it? If I use the shops recommended by the insurance company, they will tow it for free, and give me a lifetime warranty on the work.

I'd definitely do Gerber over Dodge. The owner of AutoFAB worked there for years. I'd call and ask them or just send it to them.

That is over confidence I believe and the old "I am driving an M3!!!"

And there are 80% E36 at track events if it is a BMWCCA event. Not fair!

I would say the opposite. Car and Driver named the best handling car at any price the E36 M3. Maybe a bit of a stretch but the article says it won because how easy it was to drive fast and it is forgiving.

If you go out, floor it in 2nd and shift at redline mid corner well even the M3 is not going to help you there.

No one came to inspect, it. They are sending a tow truck to take it to one of the shops approved by the insurance company and they said the shop will take care of everything. They will also give me a lifetime warranty on the repair, and free towing.

Why wouldn't they? They fix or replace anything that's bolted to the car.

    Fuck that.

I will tell them I will take care of the tow and they will still offer lifetime warranty and I am taking it to one of the actual good body shops in Atlanta like Magnum.

They will cover aftermarket stuff up to a point. Or you can do like I did. I have 10K in coverage added onto the car for my suspension, seats and other parts. So if it gets totaled or stolen or a wreck I get what I am due.

State Farm wouldn't do that. I offered to pay extra when I put the brand new ITR engine in the GS-R, a $500 Alpine head unit, and $1,500 coil-overs...they say said as long as I have receipts it's covered at no additional charge.
