    The donks just don't look safe to me. Especially since the mirrors and window layout of the car weren't designed for that ride height. Visibility has to be shit. Also the diameter of those wheels/tires would really make your gears super tall, the center of gravity would prevent quick obstacle avoiding without roll over, and the rotational mass would be hell on the brakes and drivetrain. I mean when peple say "why do you like imports but hate on donks?" I think they're failing to realize it isn't just my taste, but it's a serious loss of function that turns me off the most. At least an import with a few mods can still be a great DD.

    thats the same philosophy i have on lifted trucks!!!! .....center of gravity......visibility......etc......good post!!!....1

    I think the Caddy SUVS were conceived as bling vehicles. Asking them to go off-road is like asking Paris Hilton to act classy.

    How do you get in/out of these crazy cars with your pants hanging down near your knees anyway?
