    Default 4UH8ERS Finally painted

So i fianlly painted it. It was originally green when i got it, then i painted it half ass champ white. I finally put some effort in it and did some body work on it, and sprayed it at my work on Wed. I just mixed some silver and a lil black together and this was the result. Its got 3 coats of base and 4 coats of clear.

Let me know what you think. All comments are welcome. i can take it

I took these pics when i stopped by my moms house, and she emailed them to me this size. The only program i have that i know how to resize pics with is paint, and when i resize them, the resolution goes to hell, and the pics look like crap. Is there any other way i can make them bigger and still keep the good quality?????......i am kinda a noob at this

Sounds good. thanks. I had smoked my old corners, and i just traded them with Paul_s cause he helped me tape up the car. I am gonna be smoking these corners tom hopefully. I had blacked out the jambs and the engine bay when i painted it white a while back. I will prob leave them black for the time being, cause i dnt know how long i will keep it this color. hahaha, i am very undecisive when it comes to the color

the pics are resized now. As you can tell, it still needs some more wetsanding. I did it in my garage and there isnt enough light to see everything, but the next day i could def see where i had missed spots. The hood is CF, and now i can start to see where the carbon was soaking up some of the basecoat and clear. It has a few cracks in it also, but i will be fixin that soon.

I'll be honest. Your car looks great. Nice, low and clean. If you leave it the way it is now (maaaaaaaybe a set of wheels.....but no bigger than 15), it'll be perfect.

One complaint.....the goddamn tow hook. Not only is it unnecessary on your car, it's on the wrong end.

End result of my post? +76 points. Later, QD.

hahaha. The day i was plannin on paintin the car, i was just gonna knock it out from the inside, and when i pulled the interior panel out, it was just a solid brace behind it, so i couldnt knock it out without the dent puller, and i wasnt about to just fill it in with bondo, which was a lot of peoples idea. So i am just gonna say that its my trade mark! haha. Thanks mane

Why bigger wheels? 15s should be max. With that ride height, 15s with probably 195/50 would look great. Later, QD.

i dont like 15's on anything but i will have to agree with QD. the ride height + 15's would set this car off.

well maybe i worded that wrong. your's is a restoration and should be put back the way it came from the factory. i have a 97 hatch and i would not go lower than a 16.

because it already has 15's on it...lol Personally i can never buy the same size wheel over again.. i have to always go up one size..15's would be nice, but the car clearly isnt gonna be moving too fast at that ride height...lol a bigger less sporty wheel, with that color seems appropriate..

Thanks man. I have always been a fan of your coupe too. We need to get a lil shoot together sometime. I was thinkin of maybe the bronze ones, or color matchin them with the paint. IDK. Yea, its def not the best ride, but thats the price ya gotta pay.

Thanks man, yea we should do that for sure.. Shit clean EJ1/2s seem to be on the rise, yours, 1siccej2 and mine are holding it down right now.. that would be a sick shoot if we were to get that together somehow.. the bronze D2s would be a nice touch, color matched wouldn't be bad either.. Man, my old EJ1 was slightly lower than my current one and it hurt from time to time and i've even gotten stuck in places so i have a good idea what you dealin with..
