UPDATE ON PAGE 3!! (i know, its about time)




i bought this car back in september and it has been my DD since.. no extremely "special" mods about it yet.. just a lot of suspension and motor work... when i got it, it was an auto, but now it is a manual...

opinions welcome.. onto the pics!




here is the car the day after i bought it... absolutely bone stock and ugly!!










i started buffin it out and found out there was a lot of shine under there!!




after gettin it buffed out, i put on my slips i had laying around...







also lowered it and put on some new spoon style mirrors.. (others were busted)














put on my old tails from my EJ, then busted them the next week with a lawn mower






put on some rear discs and ended up paintin my slips... (dont remember why)






next i got window visors and put on a front and rear lip and got some EK sideskirts..



original taillights again but got a new exhaust!!!



















and here is how she sits tonight.. lots of different things since then..
jdm stanley sidemarkers, enkei rs6's, new color, everything is bolted up where it should be, and some other stuff





my new wheels






representin my homeboy howard dean!!!

yeah, i did too.. only problem was i only polished one, and got lazy on the other three... if i wouldve had all four polished, i wouldve NEVER touched those things with paint..

I like the SLips better and the other color for the car.. the dark red with slips was very clean IMO..... it has came a long way tho.. props to you

yep, they fit ALMOST perfectly.. you can get two or three christmas tree clip things into the bottom.. only part that doesnt match up perfect is where it meets the fender, but its a simple fix

haha, actually, in that picture it is on NO suspension.. that was during the days that i was waiting to get insurance and a tag for it... i would put it that low now, but the camber kits wont allow me too

My vote is on Maroon. Then, throw the slips back on it but polish them first.

haha... it was easy.. manual transmission, linkages, competition clutch, flywheel, ecu, and i keep my tires.... when you come across a good deal, you cant let it go, lol...

LOL i like your process.. it went from a POS to something in my tastes then boom, it changed.. lol i liked the slips on there without the dookie brown. heh heh. i LOLed when i saw the picture of it with no suspension. "He's lowered than meee! NOOO!" haha i like the home cut side markers =P well over good restoration.. remove the big rims. lol Props! +++

yes i have them too XD. about the big rims: it appeared big to me because of my imagination..=P go back to the polished slips. lol well GL.

and oouuuu paint the gril back to black in the front. Trim Paint from aap or auto zone and some masking tape. 10$ and half an hour. =P

well right now the car is just primered white.... i was gonna finish up the body work and take it and get it painted back to the original color.. but now that its white, im lovin it!! so now im thinkin about takin it and gettin it sprayed white, lol!!

hell no... maroon again FTW it looked better that color...and IMO you should try to find some different wheels... I know you stated you got rid of the slips but like someone else said already the enkei's just look too busy...

but it looks hella better than when you got it...keep it up!
