Are you kidding me is a f'ing E30!! Its not rare or anything and if BMW had put a decent motor in it in the first place then there would be no need for a swap i think is going to be a beast.

LOL @ not that rare. that car is one of 2 things. a car that the guy dumped a TON of money in for that widebody, or that car is a REAL E30 M3. which go for upwards of 17k all day long. so try telling that to somebody else

god i hope its not a real M3. otherwise i like it

If it is a real M3 then i retract my statement but if it is not ( the whole side is primered.... hmm???) then who cares its a great motor. I did notice the 5 lug and the wider body after everyone nutted up lol

Near mint condition and low mileage will fetch $15-20k+ but that's it. I've seen them for $5-8k several times then average to poor condition shells go for $1-3k.

Hmm, i like it because its original and definitely took some skills to do. Maybe if it was painted and the engine bay cleaned up it would look better.

uhh, that's an e30 M3. What isn't rare about that car again? Then how many cars had a normally aspirated 200hp 4 cylinder in the 80's? The issue is the cost to rebuild an S14, you can buy an sr20 and build it up for cheaper than an s14 rebuild....then have nearly double the horsepower.

What the fuck is a mb20???? lol

As for the regular e30 m20 engines. You can take a stock m20b27 "e" block and put a m20b25 "i" head on it and push 20psi through it reliably making high 300whp with well over 400lb-ft torque.

Should be alot easier to put a 2.7 block in a later model e30 then updating the harness and electronics required for the later head in an older e30.

    http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=100939

...or AutoFAB will do it for you, they've been successfully doing it for years.

BBS RS212, perfect BMW fitment. I wish I didn't have to buy 4 tires and pay court fees, or I would be refinishing those right now in my basement.

It is an M3, lolz. The M3 motor for that year is ironically an S14 motor. My motor is an S52.
