I never saw the head bolts but I saw the title and was going to be angry. Then I opened it, saw who was posting and knowing what he is putting in the car I laughed. Of course I can't say shit, I'm putting a built SR20 in my E30, but at least its not a honda motor. lol

But he said S52...the S50 and S52 are bored out versions of the M50/M52 block. In stock form they can't hold anywhere near the boost you can run through a M52. I believe Ulysses (CardCounter) still holds the record on a stock M52 block pushing about 25psi making 704whp before bending a rod. He daily drove it in the mid 600's for a long time beforehand.

You definitely can't go wrong with a M20 though, e block for even more torque and you can push 20+ PSI through it in stock form. I've seen numerous ones with 200 to 300k miles making well over 300 to 400whp...

i only said m20 because im assuming this car is a 325 and came with an m20.

i hate honda engine swaps, and this one especially because youre putting a small, torque-less engine in a heavy ass car. its kinda backwards if you ask me.

Really really weak. I would've approved of an F20 or F22 but this is just no fun.

e30 is heavy?! It's over 300lbs lighter than an Integra/Civic before pulling out the cast iron boat anchor, lol!

My e30 is a 318i with an M10b18 so going to an all aluminum 200hp 8,700 RPM engine that's practically 1/2 the weight would be a substantial improvement over a stock engine... despite barely having 140ft-lbs torque on a good day. On the other hand obviously the M10 can be BUILT virtually without limit with versions ranging from 75hp to 1500hp.

On a side note, I'm really putting an M52 in it with a GT30R...but laying the rarest Honda valve cover on top of a M10 block to piss off BMW owners is fun, proving how stuck up and close-minded they can be.

Back the bus up. I think most don't really care but we only heard m52 forever... then see what looks like a bolted in 2.0L Honda motor was a letdown.
