Default My nightmare project 89 Supra

Well I am new to this forum so I figured I would post to show what I have been working on for the last 5 years.
So the long, I got it 5 years ago from by brother for $100. The motor was in the trunk, no trans, no exhaust, 5 boxes of parts, decaying interior, and was wrecked in the front and rear. I have done everything myself but the exhaust, didnt have what I needed to do it, but do now so I will remake it soon. So here are some pics.
    The interior first.

    And now for the engine.

This is the first thing I did to the engine just some dress-up.

Then I blew a bearing and rebuilt the engine.

After rebuild. I will leave out the pics of rebuild.

Then I had a small amout of fun polishing everything.

This is after teardown before rebuild.

Now some of the body work these are recent pics.

Custom turn signals are in are F*ing great. 20 hours to make.

    Led signals off.

This is a cool pic, I think.

Finaly found pic of before body work started.

    I like'em shaved.

Lol Should I have this many left over parts, hope they werent needed.

Alright one of the dash and I'm done with the pics. There are more of the suspension, exhaust, sterio, and some other led projects and the such but ill post more where I get some more of my body work done.

Thanks for checking out my ride let me know what you think. And if you are good at body work and around the gainesvill area and wont charge to much let me know I hate sanding.

I actually agree. Those cars are badass when done right. In fact, I was liking it until I saw the front end. That's nasty, dude. Sorry, man. Later, QD.

    wtf...
props for effort, a lot of people wouldnt even try to do stuff themselves, they'd rather pay somebody to give them a kick ass car.
i never liked supras, but i like the fact that you are doing it all yourself, an attitude i share. nobody but myself has worked on my car since i have owned it. My dad laid the paint, he asked me if i wanted to do it, but at that time i didnt have any confidence in my clear coating abilities.
don't let anybody put you down, you are sharpening skills that will only get better.

that is one hell of an undertaking as well, wow.
props to you sir, can't wait for the thread on the finished product, then ill give you my opinion, its too early to say what it's going to look like, please... tell me you aren't painting it yellow... that has to be one of the nastiest colors on a car ever... only SOME look good (s2k, evo, maybe a few others)

Thats how I feel. Good luck with the car!

The body kits are a bit too much - take those off and I'd drive it.

I am open to the criticism but I do like the way its going and know where im going with it. It is going light gunmetal with flake as far as the paint. As for the rims they are probably not going to stay black that is the only color I could get but I will see how they look when the car is painted. I took it to the exhaust shop because I had to drive the car sooner than I could do it, and I didnt have a welder and I dont borrow tools. As for those of you who like stock looking cars better my wife has a 88 supra that is going to be stock body with 600hp automatic trans.
I have alot of body work to finish before it can be painted so it will look diffrent in the front once I get all of it together.

The engine is built with je pistons and crowler rods, built to turbo compression. I will be adding a turbo before paint because I have to put a clutch in it anyways, so I will paint the engine bay before reinstall. I now have a plasma cutter, pipe bender, and welder so I will redo the exhaust soon.
