I like what you did with the windshield wiper, so that they match the racing stripes...

Nice car though, would look better w/o those stripes and wipers IMO. What's done to it?

You can actually run those times with less mods... I have proof

    13.7 @ 119
    Stock engine
    12A @ 18psi
    open downpipe
    Fidanza flywheel/ACT HD pressure plate
    FIS short shifter

Szester - errr, I'd loose the ego trip. You'll get raped here
Honestly, the stripes and wipers need to go. They just sort of don't flow well with the car like they do on say an old Camaro or a Viper.

Well, not too sure about this particular car but some cars just don't do well in the 1/4 despite the amount of mods/$ in them. Mine, for example, I'll be lucky to get a 13 in the 1/4 but will make a corvette my bitch on the hwy... and my list is a bit longer than his.

    Just sayng...

I was waiting for someone with a vette to catch that one. There aren't very many 4 cylinders that will come anywhere close to keeping up with a vette no matter what the mods. There may be one here and there but this one ain't either.

eh - you need to do your research about the car first. its a 2.6L SOHC I4 with a two injector throttle body setup. It's why a lot of us are going towards MPI more and more.

Let me put it like this. Stock car has about 190whp. Give or take. A guy in Cumming, GA put MPI on the car, and a S16G turbo @ 18psi. Car dynoed 364whp before the stock original clutch vaporized. One of the most awesome sounds I have ever heard.

Not calling you out, but before anyone else also gets arrogant they need to at least know some facts about these cars

lol some of you guys shouldn't jump on the bandwagon when ya dont know much about these cars.

Actualy 13.5 is pretty decent for a Starion, with weighing a ton and a half and only having 2 injectors and a small 52mm throttle bod AND a very inefficent stock manifold... it can be hard to turn numbers out of what mitsubishi gave us. And don't even get me started about the stock intercooler routing! Damn, that was such an after thought.

I also have the Alternator mod, which requires you to engineer your own bracket since it won't bolt up to the stock bracket and also source your own Alternator. This is done because the stock alternators run outta juice and can be very pricey to repair/replace. Also i'm sure hes talking about something like the 8.55 mm Taylor or MSD plug wires where you have to buy a universal kit and kit and crimp them for your application. Just like i've done.

    Keep the questions comin' guys

Mine really dosn't leave the garage. People across the street think it is a tool bench.

Wow, that'll be nice for as long as it runs. I do believe the GNX Grand nationals were turbocharged too, as well as some older Porsches, oh and in the early 80s, the Mazda Rx-7 12A were sold in Japan with turbochargers. this is the part where you stop acting all high and mighty.

^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle
