    LoL yeah I know!

At the moment, just taking things slow and trying to save the $ to try and get the engine done.

I've also been thinking of renting a shop to work on the Z among other things lol. Super secret stuff is goin down!

since your OBD1 you could pass emissions with an RB if you take the time to install a big enough catilytic converter.

but yea keep the vg I used to live 3 minutes from z1 and I have seen the owners 1000+hp monster on the track a few times.

I know you guys want more pics. Things have been a little slow.

I was going to have the RB26 since I haven't seen it done on any local z32, but it would probably have to be taken down to a single turbo to fit. For the price of a stock RB swap which I may be able to get 300rwhp out of. I could have a built stage 3 VG30DETT. So, the decision has been made lol.

We're going VG30DETT with ALL the goodies!

I need to learn how to do suede, I want to wrap my center console. Does it need to be stretched really tight, or can you just make sure it is smooth and be fine? I know I'm not about to pay the outrageous price to get it done somewhere.

It has to be stretched lightly not really tight At least so it doesn't wrinkle while you're laying it down.

Yes this was Redondo's car that he had for sale for along time. Got a pretty good price on it. Knew what I was going to do with it as soon as I got it. Plus it's still in the IA family

at least it is staying with car people to treat it good. he bought it from a worker at the nissan place. i believe that guy was the first owner.

redondo made me wanna get 300zx myself he used to be my best friend back in high school. so he's driven me around a lot. not too comfy for two females in the front seat though.

    Thanks!

I just dropped the doors off to be customized with the same suede and get arm rests redone in red stitching.

Didn't want to work on the doors since I don't have a sewing machine nor do I know how to use one very well haha!

When I get them back I'll be working on something for the speaker area, maybe lay down some CF or something sexi

Those pictures will be posted sometime next week.

Latest update...just to show I've actually touched it!

Purchased some goodies, they're 350z pedals. Now it matches my Maxi!

    Before: (Boring stock pedals)

After: (Check out the sexi suede!)

I might have a BIG...or small (tease) suprise for everyone on Xmas

Hehe I like to keep suspense in the thread to make things interesting!

    Other than that.
Doors are nearly finished, just need to work on some fiberglass on the speaker area to get it the way I'd like.

You should drop the Infiniti VH45DE or even the VK45DE.

    Nissan V8 power FTW.

Nice looking car, and the suede looks great, good luck with whatever you do to it.

It's in really good condition, no dents or anything...saw that Z1 sells their used TT bumpers for $225 locally.

If I don't use it I'll sell it for $175 still have to remove it for you, lmk if that would work? Just don't feel like re-painting this for the Z, and would like the cash to go towards the 99' Jspec.

    Thanks

They were made in Japan. But won't be doing a RHD swap it requires switching the firewalls, and is a pain lol.

Just want a TT 'vert which once again was only in Japan.

We should get cool cars too lol would save us modding

Twin Turbo engine is going in on Wednesday and should take 2 weeks, expect an update soon During that time I'll be stopping by Z1 to get more goodies.

We're installing the engine first to make sure everything runs correctly and is where it should be, before stripping everything out to paint the engine bay. This way if there are any issues the paint won't have to suffer multiple engine pulls/installs.

Sam at Tiger Racing will be doing the work he's also working on our other car there. He really knows his stuff so that was reassuring, plus he's a very cool + nice guy!

    Stay tuned! (no pun lol)

If you need fenders and only want one...the JDM one would look pretty weird if you don't have JDM fenders already They're a little different from USM ones.

I may be selling my OEM one's not sure yet though! Will let ya know

Are you swapping the front emblem and the lower front fascia from the jdm one to your car? I was just comparing the pictures and i noticed yours is a little different.

Side note: This is the most interested i've been in a build thread for a long time. MOAR PICS!

I may be switching the nose panel with the emblem to a 1990 without emblem. It looks much cleaner that way. The US nose panels have an indent in the plastic for the nissan emblem and I'd rather trade than fill with bondo.

Ah my bumper looks different since it is NA the TT model comes with a different bumper with holes at the bottom to allow air for the side mount intercoolers. But I do have a 99 Jspec bumper. I need to work on it though since I got it used pics will be posted of a few things I've been working on.

I know you guys love pics!
