Essentially Shelby copied his own design, not dodge trying to make a knockoff. I like how the 1st gen viper has similar design cues of the cobra. They both look great. Sorry, but the build quality on most american cars isn't all that great... The 1st gen viper was built to be a street legal racecar. It has no exteior door handles, no roll up windows, no a/c.Quote:

The influence of the Viper came from the Shelby. You can say the C5 vette copied the looks of the 90ish 300z...just longer. lolol. And no, the Viper looks nothing like the Shelby Cobra, only SORTA looks like the Cobra Race car with the blue and white stripes.
