    Default Wikedeye's EJ2 B16 Build Thread.

Well first off I am not sure if this is the best place for this thread, if not please move it to the proper area. I am driving a 93 civic dx coupe. When I bought the car it had part of the original tan interior, but most of the interior had been painted blue and black (very poorly I might add). So I started by replacing almost the entire interior. I have mainly been working on suspension upgrades, but I am now starting on the engine (building my first). I have skunk2 pro s coilovers, upper control arms, rear lower control arms, lower tie bar, front and rear strut braces, and some energy poly bushings. I am still going to add rear camber kit, and sway bars, maybe under body bracing, not real sure yet.

I have also taken off the crappy rear drums brakes and added a set of disc brakes from a teg, with powerslot rotors.

Now onto the engine. Here is what is in the car right now, notice the blue accents that matched the interior.

And here is what I am building to put in. I am going to keep stock pistons and rods, get the block honed and decked, use ctr cams, get the head port and polished, and get a new valve train. Of course I will also replace all seals and get new rings. I havent decided on a shop to do the PnP so if anyone has suggestions that would be good. I saw the thread about machine shops, but I didnt see any reviews. I am leaning towards portflow. I am only looking to make between 225 and 250 whp, but I want it to be as reliable as possible, thats why I am sticking with oem parts. Plus its hard to beat honda parts.
