Default First Hardcore Wax and Pre-Drop Pics!!!!

Car has been in the family since new(1999), and yesterday was the first time I really detailed it. One layer of NuFinish and one to two layers of Turtle Wax. Paint needed a bunch of work and I was able to get all the waterspots and scratches out. In a week or two I am going to lower it with some Tokico Illuminas and springs. Just got dome replacing the timing belt and I made my own drop-in K&N filter for the 80k mile maintenence. HIDs, rear wiper delete, shift knob, shift bushings, ITR lip, and painted side skirts soon to come.

You used Nufinish? And Turtle Wax? LOL. Isnt NuFinish the sh*t you see on TV that they run through a car wash like 100 times? I would personally not use such crap on paint, I would use Mothers or Meguiers products... But to each his own.

A real polish and detail would make a world of difference.

Try Meguirs NX series wax, Not expensive and you will see a huge difference between Turtle wax and that

No. Two cheap store bought products does not constitute a real polish and detail. Ask autopia.org if you think you're right.

Just ordered the Tokico Illumina Shocks and Springs last night. Should be here sometime next week. If I am not hella busy next week-end the will be going on on Saturday.

Does anyone know good replica Lip sellers on ebay? Peoples ratings for this one make it seem pretty legit: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-01....c0.m245.l1318
