Default Don't ask why, Just for Kicks- with new addition!

Check out second page for the new addition!

Well I got this 93 Mercury Grand Marquis for 1500 bucks, and really just wanted to fix it up and sell it for 2000 bucks, because it had a lot of problems. I have fixed all the problems, and now I am gonna fix the side molding and front bumper with some new paint. But before I sell it I figured why not have some fun with it. So I am gonna take the springs off this week, and also I have some steelies that I am gonna paint red and put on her. WTF am I thinkin!!! Well thought I would share for a good laugh!

THIS THING IS A BIG F'ING BOAT!!!!

And I just got photoshop, so don't laught I am a photshop noob!!! But wanted to see what it would look like lowered! WOW!

I tried to lower it yesterday, but I failed. I just completely took out the rear springs, and I couldn't drive it like that, and I don't want to spend any money on it. So I guess I will just cut the muffler off or something!

Well I don't want to cut the original ones so I will have some to put back to sell it. I need to ride to the junk yard and find some.

Could have at least posted pics... I can only imagine how it rode tho. My friend took the rear springs out of his avalanche so his shocks could be replaced under warranty.... It was the worst **** ever.

I really wish I had the funds to do this man, I would in a heartbeat! But I want to sell it, and make about 500 buck off of it, and put some new stuff on my rex. And I really want to lower my Z a little too, so I need some of that green stuff. But the merc has so much potential that it is killing me not doin something to it!!!

I have a 99 Grand Marquis i picked up from my grandfather for 3200 bucks. Its a boat but gets damn good mpg's. I pull 29mpg on the highway and am consistantly in the high 19 to low 20's in the city. And you are definantly right about the trunk having an excessive amount of room. Have fun with it. They are pretty decent cars and the parts to repair them are very reasonable.

That's because it's not. The 70s and earlier model of that car are, though. Cool car, though. I'd have to 13" Dayton that thing and drop it. But that's just the West Coast in me. Later, QD.

Just in case your were NOT joking, white walls would be very nice on that car, but not those. Those are waaay too thick. And please no on the "murdered out" look. Later, QD.

OOOoh, no. Just heat them up. Much easier to do and, best reason of all over cutting, is that it rides so much better. I cut springs on two cars back years ago and resolved to never do that again. Ride was bouncy as hail. Later, QD.

Yeah the more I look at those white walls, they just don't work! A smaller white wall would be pretty sick with the right wheels.
