Bingo! Ol boy balled out on the car. Then look at the wheel setup. LE volks, spoon calipers, slotted rotors, then he cheaps out on entry level tires? Makes no sense to me.

it kinda looks photoshopd but those are 15" wheels, or the spoon monoblocks look like 6 pistons for some reason. I dont think they make a civic 6 piston app. I bet i missing it all together. So what is it?

lol i love my ziex 512s... great inexpensive daily tire imo

but agreed, if you're gonna drop that kinda dough on a car, back it up with some decent rubber. If you've gotta stick with Falken, Azenis aren't even all that much more haha.

Actually I like the 912's, they're cheap and have very good grip where as the AZENIS grip better but since they are competition tires you have to warm them up a little more. The 912's in my opinion grip better at lower temperatures than alot of more expensive tires but hate the sway they have due to their soft sidewalls and thread compound.

Hoosiers are competition tires.. not Azenis.

And I see no problem on having Falkens on there. They're nice wheels, sure but I like the style and shape of the falken ziex sidewalls for a daily driver. Nice, quiet ride and have potential on corners and straight line.

Yea but some competition classes like some in SCCA don't allow some tires as the Hoosiers so they use Azenis's since it's the closest thing to something sticky like the Hoosiers.

Did Falken sponsor the car? Maybe that is why.

Funny but the best thing you can do to improve handling/braking is get good tires. ALl the BBK and wheels etc won't matter.

so whats the point of the thread?? is everyone hating on the guy because hes got some clean sh.it on his car and cheap ass tires and youre just sitting there hating because you aint got his sh.it?? or is it because your ego is too low so you gotta talk about someone else's car??

I just don't see what everyone else sees that makes this car "sick." All I see is the same Civic I see everyday when I walk out the door.

And I don't know if I'm included in the "hating because you aint got sh.it" comment, but believe me, that's not my reason for me not thinking it's a bad ass car. Later, QD.

And what makes you think im hating on his car? Especially considering i said he "balled out" or spent good money on the rest of the car except for the tires. So where does "hating" on tires consist of the whole car? Better yet who was hating on the whole car other than QD. And he has clearly given you his reason for your "hating". And as for me didnt know i was "hating" on his tires. Said it looked out of place. I have 14inch 912s on my fox right now. And for what i paid for them im very happy with them. But if i had an EASY 5k in my car, i definitely wouldnt invest my money in everything else except the one thing that actually connects me to the road. Id be rockin at least some S-Drives. But naw you're right im hating because i aint got sh.it and bc my ego is low.

Why spend 150+ for tires that are going to go bad... when you can get the same tire(different name stamped on the side) for a cheaper price... I had a set of EPIC TOURS ... on my sol wheels taking deals gap with little to no squeel. tires cost maybe 30-35 a piece new. Don't hate cheap tires.
