coming from an artist myself, i think the car is sick. i like how everything flows with the lines of the body. and sogood, i've never ever seen a child with a sharpie put out that kind of work, if you ever see one, let me know asap.

No...not just your hood... that ruined car that has emblems on the front and back that say BMW and your windows ruin the car plus those rim and tire combo just make it double ruined and your interior well... lets just say ruined...

Are you seriously trying to say that me saying the Lambo's ruined from being drawn all over is even close to the same thing as my car being ruined (in your opinion) from some vinyl decals on my hood/fender? Tribal art drawn on with a sharpie is a just a little different than a symbolism of BMW motorsport history.

The point is, it's his/her car and they can paint it how they want. It still drives and works properly. Maybe we should post up wrecked Lambo's so you can say how perfect they are for having stock paint. For you to say it's ruined because they have a custom paintjob is dumb as hail. How do you know their deaf grandchild didn't paint that? That has some purpose such as your vinyl.

If it's an M3 it's worth 15k, but if it's just an I, it's probably worth around 6-8k depending on shape.

I'm just saying, it's not like you can't repaint it. Sand that sht off and spray all new primer/paint/clear and it'll be like new. Someone drew on my cousins (white) car in high school with sharpie and when he wrecked it and got it repainted it was all like new.

Of topic, where do you live near DH and LP5? I live/work in both of those areas and have never seen your car around. I think I'd notice that hideous vinyl.;)

in most cases, modifying any car is goin to depreciate the value no matter what. it all depends on how you look at it, and who's eyes you see it through. some people may think this cars art and others well... think its completely ruined. just my :2cents:

Of course you could repaint it, I guess if you have the money to buy the car in the first place, you wouldn't have a problem dropping more $ into another paintjob. I just personally wouldn't do it, that's all :)
