You're entitled to your opinion. I honestly think the same thing about your Civic. The only way I'd ever drive one is if I won it or someone was paying me. But I wouldn't go out and buy one on purpose. Just my opinion.

Really though the scion platform is starting to gain alot of aftermarket support. Especially the tC. The car has been out for just over 3 years and its already got a pretty big aftermarket support and its going to only get bigger when they start dropping in price due to age and mileage. Its going to hit a price point where you can get a tC thats already got 160hp/160tq for the same price as you can get a base civic for that has 100hp/90tq. While there will still be loyal honda enthusiasts(such as your self) Alot of people are going to get swayed due to more power from the start and a just as big as if not bigger than aftermarket support community.

my wifes r18 has 138 to the wheels and thats the slowest model civic makes, im at 192 with a custom intake. i think it will still be hard to top that but i must say i have driven a tc and the torque compared to me and my wifes car is nice!

my baseline pull is not shown, 178 whp, then i got 186 with aem sri, now im up to 192 with intake and tbs. i attribute maybe just maybe 1whp to the tbs

but here is where it gets tricky. if i use a header, i will likely see little gains from the header as proven by my boys si, and countless others. there is something about the way the maf housing is modified.

r-18 is not a punk, there is a sweet azz turbo kit for them now which, screw the hp, boosts the wtq up to 190!

but honestly, the k20 is where its at, just no tuning option for my ecu.

Painting you oem wheels, and lowering it, but I'm pretty sure theres more mods on the way. The money you spent on that you could've put something on your engine, atleast an intake.
