On the other hand both the Ferrari FXX and the Maserati MC12 Corsa, the only two i know are doing this have both had atleast 1 example turned into a street car.

I just thought of something. With Ferrari and Maserati making so much money. Why can't they just make an LMP car to contest at LeMans?

You'd have the order go as such...

LMP I OR II - Ferrari Car
GT1 Maserati MC12/ Ferrari 575
GT2 Ferrari F430GT2
GT3 Ferrari F430

But that's getting of topic.
Good point and my friend and I have debated it many times, but the problem is that even though Ferrari makes really nice cars, they don't really have budgets like Honda, Audi...all the big guys and all there money and sponsor money goes into F1. The GT cars are all run by privateers.
