Default Painted my first valve cover...

and did a few other things today..

Well i needed to replace my V/C gasket this weekend so I decided to go ahead and polish some things up and paint away.... everything seemed to be going great until i pulled the masking off and didnt cut away the paint from the tape lol. I had a good idea but seemed to **** it up a little....

not bad for your first cover. But if this is a show car like i suspect i would redo it and get it perfect. Clean work tho.

good job trying to make it look like a GSR cover. White would have looked better.

clayed the car and buffed it today.... the car is amazing looking. After it was painted it sat outside under a canopy for a year and the paint was very rough like there wasnt a clear coat.... talked to a guy that helped paint the car at the varsity meet and he said it was cleared... well after I buffed and clayed it, the paint is very smooth and glossy!

Now just waiting on all the parts i ordered to get in

oh an on the v/c.... didnt have anything to polish it except for a pad and aluminum polish.... 4 hours of sanding and hand polishing. i spent all day working on this and was PISSED when I pulled the tape off. I pulled it off just a little too fast lol

i can touch it up though... no biggie.
