    Smile '08 STI

    Who here has seen one in real life?

    I've been reading alot of posts about people saying that it looks like a mazda 3 when they haven't even seen it in person! Lol I went to subaru of gwinnett yesterday and saw the white one they had in show room.

    And it looks nothing like a mazda or any other wagon.

    It doesn't even look like an '08 WRX, it looks alot more aggressive. The only thing that I would change would have to be it's tail lights, but with alittle bit of tint it'll help it out a ton... A lip would also make the car look even better.

    But people shouldn't really compare it to a mazda because this new STI makes it look like sh!t. And not just in the exterior but interior as well. Here are some pictures of a white '08. LMK what yall think.

    oh, and the car looks wayy better in person too!

    That's why people are allowed to have opinions. You may be insecure about how your depth of vision changes from picture to reality, but I'm quite confident that what I see in a picture is going to be the exact same thing I see in reality.     The only thing i really like from the front is the scoop and the headlights. I hope they are making the sedan STI again?

    I haven't heard anything about a sedan STI, so I doubt we'll have one. But even though it's a wagon, it doesn't look that big in person. The rear isn't all that bad, the interior is badass! Seats, cluster, everything looks alot better than the previous years IMO.

    I think it looks awesome and has the performance aspect to back it up, but I dunno about 40K+. :-\

    Starting price on the one I saw yesterday said 37k. Which is still pretty up there.

    Cobb has a black one right now with some nice rims too... not sure what kind but with some better looking rims and a few extra work on the exterior and the car would look twice a good! I haven't seen the one subydude has, let me go check! :P

    I just don't like it. Granted I haven't seen it in person yet, but the only pictures of it I've even found remotely attractive are ones that are photoshopped. And it's really not even the front for me, I can get used to it. It's everything behind the back wheels. I'm sorry but the back looks like a bag of ass.

    It comes with ugly 5 spoke wheels.

    If you want the BBS's which are like an STi signature, it costs you 2k more.

    Subaru is making there cars uglier and uglier.

    Been going downhill since MY02 when they switched the bugeyes.

    I saw a blue one at the St. Louis Auto Show and it is bad f***ing ass!! A hell of a lot better then any pics ever looked. Pics do this thing no justice whatsoever!!

    ive seen it in person, and it looks great.. but it doesnt look like 40k great.. but it does look alot better in person. looks alot smaller than the previous sti also in person.

    Mazdaspeed3 > 08 STi, I hate the way those fenders are bulged, they could'n't of done the good ole R32-R34 GTR or 04 Subie bulges, they had to invent this retarded S-curve. also ,the headlights, lower and upper grill look like they're pushed tooo far inwards, that's just the front, I hate those whole car's looks. Although I may have not seen it in person, I will say the new Lancers look better in person too, only difference is that they looked good to begin with.

    Are you saying the Mazdaspeed 3 is better in power or looks? Lol because if you're saying that its better all around you're a fucking moron. The fenders actually look realy good, alot more aggressive than the previous STIs. The grill wasn't meant to be all up in your face, it looks like it's inwards but it's not all that in, in person.
