Update:My front bumper came in today :goodjob: . And since I pulled my mud flaps off I had to go and find the trim pieces that go in their place. After looking around the house I gave up and went to the junkyard and lucked out and found these on an '03 and sure enough they fit even though the fenders are different :goodjob: Not bad for $20. Also just checked and my Exhaust arrived in Atlanta today. :goodjob: Looks like i will have a busy weekend.

I HATE THIS ****ING CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!STARTED PULLING THE FRONT BUMPER OFF AND THE MIRRORS OFF AND SO FAR ALL I HAVE AFTER 2 1/4 HOURS IS THE ****ING MIRRORS OFF THE CAR AND STILL THE FRONT BUMPER WON'T COME OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok so after 3 hours of work I finaly have everything packed up and ready to go this. was by far the most difficult front bumper I have ever pulled off in my life. I'll post pictures tommorow too ****ing tired. gotta get up in like 4 houirs to clean house and **** before i leave to go get my moms truck to drive all this **** up to bucky.
looking good imo.
so my exhaust and my intake came in today and my exhaust looks ok but my intake.......not even the right one. It's for a 3000GT so I gotta ship it back and wait another week.
if I were you, I'd keep the intake, sell everyhting else and get the 3k GTQuote:

yeah I was just messin, and I only take the VR-4 3Ks seriously. Your GT is comming a long nicely, good luck with getting the right part next time.
Thanks man. i sent them an email. I bought it on ebay and it says that their return policy is that I pay for shiping but since i just want to get the right one and not return as this was a mistake on their part i sent them an email saying i wasn't paying for shipping this thing back or the new one.

You're not going 4 wheeling anytime, are you?
yes thank you i know i need a drop
It's looking good, though. But if you need a set of mud boggers.........
lol I'll be sure to let you know.
Well here are the pictures from the teardown last night.
looks cold in that garage, cuz i dont see no HEATER!
It's actually not that cold it was 20 degrees outside last night and it was like 50-60 in the garage so it wasn't to bad. the real problem was that between it being so cold and the car being 7 years old 2 of the 5 screws snapped their heads. the rest i did very slowly with lots of wd-40. rust FTMFL.
I'm still pissed about my intake being the wrong one.
my car is 13 years old, and my rear brakes froze this morning.. it was 18 degrees.. i dont want to hear it!!!!!!
:)
damn that sucks bro you still got the protege?
naw.. its all fixed now.. no biggie.. but it sucked this morning..
I just went out and looked at my exhaust and it only came with one gasket. i guess i'll see it tommorow.
let me know what ya'll think cause i'm looking at this closer and it looks like this may actually be the correct one i kinda mocked it up it looks right to me
last bit was trying to find the pics from the ad where i bought it
gl with build. looks good so far!!!!
thanks^
opinion on the intake right one wrong one? Talking to seller via email trying to get to the bottom of it
looks like it might work to me.
yea i pulled the stock upper pipe off and kinda mocked it up and it looks ok to me. Waiting to hear back from these guys. It's just weird the box says 3000 gt on the side but when i mocked it up it all looks ok.ehhh idk
very nice. my buddy has one but it is a darker red
looks like it's comin along. g/l with it
it gets nicer and nicer every page, +1 for a clean eclipse
thank you i appreciate it. Got a lot of work today so. I just got up gonna go get a shower and get this intake in and then ill start on the exhaust once it gets a little warmer.
Just got done with the intake. And overall it wasn't too bad but the coupler's were almost too ****ing small. Took me and my dad to stretch one of them so that it would go on to the MAF sensor but it's on now.
u better get one of these ASAP!

but they are online all over best bet is to find a site that has free shipping, because they are all about the same price.. 45-50$. google "intake air bypass valve"
well i'm putting my exhaust on right now and we are having problems breaking the bolts so. hopefully we get everything broken soon.
Have anyone put the 3000gt twin cam n/a or twin turbo into a 3rd gen
i think they have on the na but the TT motors no way to expensive.
so after spending the entire afternoon and night we were only able to get the axleback portion of the exhaust off. the midpipe bolts are so rusted it's not even funny. we have tried everything. we just took a torch to them and then sprayed them down with penetrating oil and it still didn't break loose. we sprayed them down again and are going to let it set overnight. if it doesn't work I will be driving the car with only the mid pipe up to he dealership to let them have at it.if anyone has any more ideas please chime in.
