Looking to do about 360whp at 15-17lbs. The customer has already left theshop. The customer took the car before I could get the finished pics of the job. I think he has some exterior pics of the car though. It's a 91-94 black s13 coupe which is pretty stock on the outside, but it does have an lsd, eibach springs and kyb shocks.

A couple hours. Nah shouldnt be too bad.

    I like the manifold alot.

But the stock raditor fan shroud and I'm assuming head gasket all have to go with that setup.

Well, from what I understand, the customer didn't have the money yet to do an aluminum radiator, and dual electric fal fans yet. And no, he is still running stock head gasket and head bolts. Normally these motor will handle up to 400whp before the stock head gasket has to be changed. This is still a cokmpletely stock internal motor and has never been opened up.

As for the spool time, becuase of the stage5 exhaust wheel in it, it does spool a little later than smaller turbos. The cutomer says it starts around 3300rpm and hits maxboost between 3900-4000rpm. I will still get Charles to post the graph when I can get in touch with him.

very nice. what gauge is the tubing in the first few pics? Because from the 1st pic, it is not a schedule 40 pipings. However in the car, it looks more like it due to the color changes of the metal from heating up.

I believe the piping is 1 and 3/4" ID and is .125 stainless on the thickness. The same as the full-race manifold. Also the reason it may look like that is because he has to thouroguhly clean the stainless pipe before welding and before the pipe is heated up on the car. If you don't anything that is on the manifold(grease,ect..) will be there forever.

Just make sure that you place the Maf in a straight piece of pipe for proper air flow reading and extend the wires. That's pretty much it. Now if you change over to the z32 you will need to wire it correctly and it does work better in conjunction with an afc or something that can manipulate input and output signals of the maf.

if i change over to a z32 will it need to be tuned? or can i just run the car with the stock ecu fine ?

You can do a street tune on it if you have the afc. But there won't be anything to tune if you don't. Opinions varry on if you have to use the afc or not. Sometimes it causes irradic idle and things like that. That is where the afc comes into play.

i've never seen a Z32 MAF run correctly on a stock computer without at least an AFC to change the input/output settings.

I have never seen it work correctly either. Have heard of some guys getting it to work without it but it could have been big fish stories

Sorry it took so long to get the graph up Brian. Here is the new graph that we just finished a few mins ago. This was with new plugs and at about 13-14psi. Later.

My friend with the Blue 240, the one you had been looking at to buy before the sr swap, is running a z32 maf with no afc. He doesn't seem to have any problems.
