    Default Starting to take shape - Before & After

    bought a 99 gsr bone stock...starting to take shape...

    after breaking BOTH the control arm bolts for the shocks and having to hacksaw the stud out and buy new control arms and bolts...its lowered now

    thanks, its not completely slammed...u can fit your fingers between the fender and tire...and the ride is pretty good but stiff

    haha yeah...all i did so far was a AEM dryflow filter and just shoved it into the stock intake pipe...a JVC head unit...removed the spoiler , and coilovers...

    im only going to get some wheels now, im thinking axis oldskool's or drag dr-20's...

    some brand name coilover sleeves, dont really know what.bought them secondhand...but the ride is not bouncy , just real stiff...you can feel the bumps but the car doesnt bounce, i mean it could be better and it could be worse...

    kyb shocks in the rear and stock shocks in the front on the lowest setting for the sleeve...

    its pretty low but its just how i wanted it

    yep , taking off the wing was my first mod....i want a ITR lip and ITR wing, not 100% sure about the wing but a lip is definetly gunna be put on

    ITR wing is the only one i would buy, if i had to buy one. My buddy has a 98 Champ White ITR and the wing just flows with the rest of the car (so sexi). You should find you some 97+ ITR wheels to set that sexi beast off

    oh, my bad then. There was an incident that happened exactly how you explained it. Broke the lower control arm bolts and hacksawed it off. had to get new control arms and bolts

    yea its common...everything else came off smooth...i had to break the tackwelded bolt on the shock with a large ass breaker bar...then cut on the inside...took me like 4 hours when it should of taken 30 minutes...oh well , i would of have to done it sooner or later...

    but yeah this setup is temporary until i get some teins or skunk2 full coilovers...but for now it should be good enough.

    man instun noodoh i applied at gwinnett place honda and i came back a week later to check and they said they werent hiring but its straight.
