haha and here i was expecting you to come in hating on our little FWD hondas. as for the front end difference? Here... lemme show you (using a few pics i havent posted yet)
well there are only 2 OEM front ends for the sol. the most common is the 93-95 front end, which has the aux lights.
then theres the 96-97, uncommon because it had a shorter run with much lower production numbers. it axes the aux light and has a new grille style. some prefer this style, but i think sols look naked without the aux lights... the one exception being the next style...
and finally, my personal favorite, is the ultra-rare mugen bumper, made commonplace by ebay clones.

not quite miata light... the VTEC model is around 2500lbs thanks to all disk ABS brakes, the bigger motor, the beefier suspension, cruise control, power steering, and the extra goodies. as far as price is concerned... depends on how popular they are at the moment. lots of sols have been popping up again recently...
however, if you're looking for an EG2, be prepared to hunt. of course, i happened to get mine for a steal
