i took my airbags out, theres no law for it, some insurance companies might frown on it and charge more, nice ride though, was it black or another color

Any car manufactured after 1996 that is imported to the US has to have airbags.

Now whether you take it out after you buy it doesn't matter one bit...except maybe to your insurance company when they can decide not to pay out a claim if you're seriously injured.

Apparently, their handling isn't all that great. Understeers, and the brakes are "wooden"...but I would damn near kill for one of those. The craftsmanship is amazing...I mean, look at the interior. I love the peanut-butter diamond quilted leather, the engine turned aluminium, the switches, and the exposed shift linkage. It's like nothing I've seen before.

I took these pics at a charity event at ferrari atlanta. the event is called dream ride for kids. the euro steering wheel is way cooler than the us version.

I've seen the dark blue one that was posted on the last page. It's LOUD. I saw it being chased by a Ferrari on Spalding Drive. Pretty cool.

I've seen that one, a silver one, yellow one and black. I think they are pretty darn cool. They look awful with the little top on but without, nice. Much better in person. The interior is amazing.

Yeah, if you guys think the car is ugly... you have another thing coming. I didnt like it at first, but now i love them. They sound mean as hell too. The ones i have seen here have the Euro steering wheels for some odd reason. Spyker interior FTMFW! love the exposed shift linkage.

Oh, btw, they actually go for around $280,000

There are nearly no new cars on the market now that don't have an airbag.

The Saleen S7 is the only one I can think of.

Ultima GTR's are kit cars, that is the only way they can be brought into the states...that's why i call BS on the "production car" records it holds, you can get a turnkey in Europe but Ultima is still basically just a parts manufacturer that supplies a kit.

All Lotus production cars in the US have airbags.

Noble "production" cars have driver, passenger, and side airbags in Europe...and they too are kit cars in the US. You can not buy a M400 from 1gRacing (the only US distributor) with the engine and transmission installed. That's the only way around the US safety regulations. The 2008 Rossion Q1 will be available as a kit or include the powertrain for an extra $20k.

A TVR is just as legal in the US as a Skyline, it's not imported here but you can still obtain them with $$$. TVR of North America was in Canada and only one model was ever fully legal in the US, the 280i from 1984 to 1987...
