ha, American's have been doing that for YEAARRRS.....tires way to small for the width of the rim.....just work at any Kauffman or Discount Tire Co, and you will see that shit all day....now for the exhaust...Jap's can keep that.

    its more than that
    its about fitment
americans suck at wheel fitment 80% of the time
10% of the ones that can drive S chassis
the other 10% drive Lux cars

exhaust is a throwback ot OG Vip styling
    i <3 it
and nit gained .2bar of flow from it

    regardless
Vip WILL take over in the next 5 years
    will be bigger than drifting
    but on a higher level
Most peopl ein the states honestly cant afford to do it...in japan its slightly easier becuase all the parts are easier to get ahold of and stuff.

I guarantee you that within a year's time, you will be riding with the same exhaust(assuming you can get away with it here) and showing it off to everyone. That is a big market overseas there right now. And, as with everything else over there, people here will like it and do it here. Later, QD.

    quoted for the truth.

I think the whole "VIP" shit is stupid but at the same time, some cars look cool... people been doing similiar shit over here for years... but it was just another modded car.

I think what is actually stupid is , now Japan, has something sorta new and everyone in America is Like oh shit!

I think out of all the cars you have posted this is the worst looking one.. all the other ones were pretty bad ass...

cant wait to see civics here and some people calling it VIP style hahahaha even though, I think the whole VIP thing looks good on big body's.

    I'm gonna have to agree

That wagon he had before was sick. That was definitely something different but looked good. This is something different too, but looks like shit. Those exhaust tips are ugly as fuck. I remember seeing some guy with an integra that did that shit and everyone jumped on him saying it was ugly. Can you guess why? Because it's ugly as fuck. I don't care if it's considered "JDM" or what. VIP looks good, but only on a baller car. Besides isn't the whole point of VIP is to make your car look classy/baller/"smooth"/elegant, not ridiculous and stupid with those ugly ass looking tips

FUCK GRAN TURISMO EAST!! NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR THERE, ESPECIALLY NOT FOR AN ALIGNMENT!! TERRIBLE BUSINESS!!

If I remember correctly, yes... I wish, I can remember the name of that Video like 10 years ago about this..

And it was done in Europe mostly, with like big body Benz / BMW and shit, mostly RWD sedans... It really didnt have a name.. it was just hot shit..

But you know.. Japan started doing it and now is "cool" and will probably take credit for it.. just like imports

Some can look sick as hell.. but some just like wtf ?

I think the car looks good.

For everyone that's saying VIP is the *new* thing then do a little research...VIP modding has been around for a while. It's not a new trend....

However I think it is a newer trend in America because the typical age of modders are available now to buy cheaper vip style cars. Think VIP wasn't big here 7 years ago because a Lexus still cost 10k + or an infiniti....now you're looking at buying some of those cars for just as much of less than you would for a nice Civic or 240 so yes the VIP market is catching on here finally--but it's not a new thing.

Since not many other people were really calling it a new trend, I guess you were talking to me...

.. Is a "hot" trend ... So is def a new " Trend" of "bippu". style has been around for years... shit, I remember seeing a Video back like in 96 about this.. So, my guess is older then that.

Most look like shit.. The problem is, Alot of people in this country are full of shit and a bunch of followers.

Basiclly bippu or VIP has been done by all the rich sports players in this country for years.. and Not even know the type of modification they were doing had a name...

But if American enthusiast didnt see or read about it from japan, it was just another Big body sedan on chrome/polish wheels w/ a fart can.

Is like drifting... People been drifting for YEARS.. but it really didnt take off until 5 years or less ago... Making that " The new thing"

I really like the VIP style...and the exhaust tips have been part of that style too right? I don't like that part, but the rest looks badass.
