Default Stock Gauge Is Worthless - VDO is not

    Daylight:

    Nighttime:

    Adapter:

    What was learned?

1 - Stock gauge shows straight up and down... VDO shows ~140

2 - If you get in "dirty" air on the highway or tailgate the temp rises a bit. Jump out into clean air and you get lower temps

Put in a new radiator while I was at it.
